Asterix & Obelix - iPad Fan Art Drawing & Coloring with Procreate

For coloring in Procreate, I use this setup a lot:

  • The UDERZO ink brush is one of my personal favorites for line art, hatching, and details.
  • The hexagonal shape of the GREG ink brush gives you a lot of control when filling in flat colors. 
  • Then I did the shading (layer set to color burn) and highlights with the BRUEGEL shading brush set to 40% opacity. I also used it as smudge tool to get nice transitions. 
  • Sometimes I copy the flat colors at the end and set the layer to color burn as you can see in the layer menu.
