Georg’s MANGA INK & ASIAN PAINT Procreate Brushes
Hi everyone! I updated my MANGA INK & ASIAN PAINT Brush Set including 25 traditional East Asian ink and paint brushes, screentones (seamless pattern brushes as well as transparent PNGs) and nice shading brushes. It comes with almost everything you need for creating professional manga and anime style comics as well as traditional East Asian drawings. The brushes are also great for cartoonists, illustrators and character designers. You can get them as a stand alone set or download it as a free update for your MEGAPACK via Sellfy or Gumroad.
The set contains 25 custom made ink and paint brushes:
- The G-PEN (Gペン) incl. round, edged, tapered and streamlined versions (you can download the limited original versions here for free)
- The KABURA (カブラペン)
- The MARU (丸ペン)

- Bonus: 2 MANGA COLOR Swatches: harmonic palettes made with my custom copic marker triplets - for each color you’ll find a matching highlight as well as shading tone above and below the respective base color!
Here’s a little demo drawing with the G-PEN, WANG’S WASH, GEISHA’S STRAND brush and ZEN CIRCLES:

One of my personal favorites is the new STRAINED SUMI-E, inspired by East Asian ink wash painting. It’s a pressure, tilt and velocity controlled brush, very versatile and great for dynamic ink work. With a little practice you get a very natural and enjoyable flow. Each stroke produces interesting breakups and nice random ink artifacts:

Hope you like the Manga & Anime set and I would love to see what you create with the new brushes. If there’s anything you’re missing, I’ll be glad to schedule it for the next free update.
ハッピーインキング! (Happy inking!) :-)
