New Procreate 4 WET OIL Paint Brushes

Hey guys! Here are sample strokes and cheat sheets for some of my new ROSSBOB wet oil paint brushes from the latest MegaPack update (#21, Oct 16-2017). I created these multi-purpose paint brushes using the powerful new Procreate 4 features like wet paint and texture bleed. 😍

All brushes can be used in normal, glaze, and wet paint mode. You can switch the brush render mode in the “Dynamics” tab of the brush menu. They work great with the ROSSBOB harmonic color swatches I included in the last two MegaPack updates.

The ROSSBOB PAINT KNIFE is one of the main brushes in my new set. In default wet paint mode, it gives you an awesome variety of dry and wet brush strokes depending on the pen pressure, speed, and tilt angle you use. It’s a great tool to quickly paint the background of your scene and give your painting a nice rough underlying texture.

Step #1 from my Bob Ross tutorial - with just a few quick ROSSBOB PAINT KNIFE brush strokes you create your basic scene layout! Use “happy accidents” and the varying texture marks of your brush strokes to find patterns that appeal to you and can be used to build up details.

I recommend thinking and working in layers when you set up the background, middle ground, and foreground of your painting. For more complex paintings, it’s a good idea to keep separate elements like mountains, trees, and water in their respective layer groups. Flatten finished subgroups when you reach the limit of available layers.
