Video: SUMI-E Ink and WANG’S WASH Brush - Procreate Brush Demo
Testing my sumi-e and paper wash brushes with Mr and Mrs Hembus by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. One of my personal favorites is the new STRAINED SUMI-E, inspired by East Asian ink wash painting. It’s a pressure, tilt, and velocity controlled brush, very versatile and great for dynamic ink work. With a little practice, you get a very natural and enjoyable flow. Each stroke produces interesting breakups and nice random ink artifacts.
